EWI4000s Patch Decoder

This web page will help you decode patches for the EWI4000s. It takes output from the UniQuest command 'Copy SysX As Text' and translates it into human-readable form. It provides controls to do this twice and mark the differences between them so patches can be compared side-by-side.

Note: to get the proper text, you need to right-click in the patch editor window (the one with all the knobs and sliders) and use the 'Copy SysX As Text' menu option (like this). If you right-click on the patch name (like this) or use the top-level Bank menu (like this), the text will include data for the entire bank and the Decode button will fail.
